Well that took awhile, but I think it’s well worth it. Feast your eyes on the location of every (correct me if I somehow missed your school) school in the 2010 HSNCT field!

  2. There’s a placemark in Rockville, MD labeled “Placemark 68” which doesn’t seem to represent any school; as far as I can tell, it should be Whitman, which is otherwise not mapped, and is located a few miles to the south in Bethesda.

  3. Last time I checked, Illinois and Missouri were tied for the largest number of teams (13 each). Is this still the case?

  4. Good call James, that happened a couple of times while I was inputting the locations. I’ll change that right now.

As far as number of teams go, that appears to be in flux judging by the recent drops and adds. The NAQT website currently has 196 teams registered and it looks like Illinois now has 14 (from 13 schools) while Missouri still has 13 total.

  6. The map work is wonderful; however, Cisterican Prep is located at 3660 Cistercian Road, 75039 — the place currently indicated is a # miles from where we are actually located. Our address is right on Highway 114/West about 1.4 miles from the site which WAS Texas Stadium until recently demonished. Thanks!

  7. You missed Ottawa Hills HS in Toledo, Ohio.

Cool idea – enjoyed checking out the map!
